Residency Faculty

The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University Medical Center has faculty that are dedicated to our mission of patient care, education and research. We have a number of faculty who are nationally and internationally recognized for their expertise in their subspecialties. Below are profiles of several faculty members who work with our residents.

Dr. Joseph Yu
Former Radiology Residency Program Director and Clinical Professor

• Dr. Yu is very well established and reknowned with over 100 papers, 80 abstracts, 30 chapters and 100 speaking engagements
• He is the solo author of Case Review: Musculoskeletal Imaging. The second edition will be out by 2008.

 

Donald Chakeres, MD
Clinical Professor

• Co-authored Fundamentals of Magnetic Resonance Imaging with Petra Schmalbrock, PhD, Associate Professor of Radiology at OSU
• Appointed an Associate Editor of Radiology, starting after RSNA
