Computer Equipment

- Five dedicated post processing workstations for volume data processing (Leonardo, Siemens, Erlangen, Germany)
- Three dedicated post processing workstations for volume data processing (Advantage Windows, GE, Milwaukee, WI)
- Image Viewing and Archiving (PACs system)
- Image post processing and quantitative analysis
- The imaging processing infrastructure consists of state-of-the-art hardware.
Multi-core processor workstations with high quantities of RAM in combination
with 64-bit operating systems provide a leading edge environment. Also available are
more than 15 Terra Byte of network storage, PACS workstations as well a secure FTP server for data exchange. Such systems are with technical assistance 24/7.
- Existing (Supported) software platforms are: Windows, Linux. Image processing software is developed platform independently using Interactive Data Language (IDL, Research Systems, Inc., Boulder, CO, USA).
